Established on 1st December 2021, the Biraja Handloom Producer Company in Jajpur, Odisha, stands as a beacon of heritage and innovation in the handloom sector. Promoted with the support of NABARD under the Producer Organization Development and Assistance Scheme (OFPO), we are a collective of 350 skilled artisans and weavers dedicated to preserving the timeless art of Tasar weaving while embracing modern advancements to create sustainable livelihoods.

The Artisans & Craftsmanship
At the heart of Biraja Handloom lies the expertise of 350 artisans, each contributing not just their skill but also their trust through a minimum share capital of ₹1,000. Specializing in Tasar silk weaving, our members craft exquisite products such as sarees, shawls, stoles, shirting fabrics, and readymade garments. Each piece reflects the rich cultural legacy of Odisha, intricately woven with precision and passion.

From mastering mixed-material creations to producing readymade garments, we ensure our weavers are equipped with cutting-edge skills.
